Sunny Side Development

Greenway Cross is a 16-unit apartment building in Fitchburg, WI. Sunny Side Development purchased the property in 2026 with the aim to keep rents affordable long term, while making much-needed sustainability improvements to the building envelope and mechanicals. Improvements will include a sizeable solar photovoltaic system, and hosting public electric vehicle charging through the Charge Up Dane County program.  

 

Major sources of funding include debt from Old National Bank, FHLBank - Indianapolis Affordable Housing Program, and Dane County Non-LIHTC.

 

Renovation will begin in Fall 2026.
